Working in partnership with CARAS (Community Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers), we ran a six week learn to swim programme in early 2019 focused on developing the swimming fundamentals of breathing, body position and motion, as a gateway to enjoying the water. Following that, the participants successfully applied for funding to continue their swimming lessons and since September 2019 we’ve been running weekly sessions for the squad.
What are our goals?
Learn to swim, build water confidence, relax and laugh with our friends.
