Alice Gartland is a marathon swimmer, Swim England Level 2 swim teacher, and STA Level 2 Open Water Swimming coach. From aquaphobes through to experienced open water swimmers, she loves helping everyone enjoy the water.
Her swims include: a solo 26.4km Lake Zurich Marathon Swim; 17km Solo Lake Annecy Swim; 4 woman English Channel relay; 2 woman Lake Zurich relay; the Solent; the Thames Marathon; Dart 10k, Sydney Harbour Swim, Scilly Swim Challenge, and the swimmer for Team Mel C vs Team Pendleton in the Human Race Women only triathlon, and competing in the International Winter Swimming Championships in China.
Alice has over 20 years experience of working in law, policy and advocacy. Her consultancy and adventures have taken her from SE London to China, the Alps, the UN and No.10. She is Contributing Editor of Outdoor Swimmer Magazine and is a fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs and the RSA.
